Everything is unlocked, and when I do a Select All, it selects, but I just can't click on it. Synergy is definitely causing this issue in my situation. Can you see the floor in plan view but just can't select it, or do you not see it at all?

To fix this, choose All in the Selection Filter list. If you happen to be using Synergy (or other similar software KVM type program), I would suggest attempting to kill that application, and see if the problem persists. I've compared all my settings to the main level (where I can select the floor), they all appear to be the same. Those icons on the outliner are toggle switches: Eye to make the object visible in the viewport.
