Remove any folders with 'Apple', 'iTunes' or 'iCloud' in the name. Maybe I'm not smart enough to do this!!! BTW, for anyone with this problem that is hesitant to delete and re-install iTunes, the method I used (see link) preserved everything, ie. Then I got another iTunes error message: “iTunes was unable to load data class information from Sync Services.” Un and re-installing iTunes fixed that. I'm running an iPhone 3GS with iTunes 10 on Windows 7. read review then downloaded/installed the 2.0 firmware. 3.

Typically after I plug the iPod Touch into the USB port that the iPod was configured on then it will work on any of the USB ports directly following.
